I regularly push myself to do something a little different from what i usually do. I call these little projects the "5-minute challenge." I have 5 minutes to think of a concept, 5 minutes to put it together, 5 minutes to shoot it, and 5 minutes to edit an image. I sometimes fudge a little on the time constraints, and that's okay by me. As long as i've done something outside of my usual routine, then i'm happy. Here's today's 5-Minute Challenge. It was my first time making fake blood from scratch. (Before and After Edit)
I've had a lot of portrait-chickens in my studio, and Sonya (i'm telling on you!) was one of them. It's perfectly understandable to be a little weary of having portraits made, especially if you've had them done previously by someone who doesn't understand how to light different face shapes. There's a method. Combine the method with my madness ::wink:: and trust me, you're in good hands.
