I've been photographing these precious monkeys since before they were born! It's hard to believe how much they've grown and how different each's personality is. I always thought it would be super cool to have twins. Getting to photograph them is the next best thing :)

Unedited Photos aka "SOOC"

Someone asked me if I ever post unedited images. Well, not really. Unless i'm showing a before and after; then yes. For the most part, though, i prefer to show only finished images since it's an accurate portrayal of my work. It's my brand. It's who i am as a photographer. Like that.

But, since you asked, here are a few unedited images, SOOC ("straight out of camera"), as shot.

P.S. Soon i'll be offering how-to tutorials for finding light, shooting, and editing! WHOO! To keep informed of such groovy events, sign up for my newsletter by filling out the form at the top right over there! -->

Jupiter - A Natural-born Model - Children's Photography in Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Gilbert AZ

It's very rare to photograph a young child who can take direction and emote on such a level as this little girl can. What a really fun and beautiful session this was!

I Won a Trip to the Great American Beer Festival Courtesy of Brew Tees!

I've never won anything substantial before, so when i entered an online drawing for an all-expense-paid trip to the Great American Beer Festival (GABF) in Denver, i wasn't really expecting to win. So, when Ted from Brew Tees called to tell me i'd won, it took a few seconds for it to sink in. Then the excitement unleashed and i couldn't wait to get there!

The festival was this past weekend and it was PHENOMENAL! I couldn't take my pro camera in, so bear with me on the iPhone photos, but you'll get the idea!

This is the place you don't want to be...the end of the line! We estimated about 10,000 people in front of us, but the line moved incredibly fast and we were inside in minutes!

Once inside, all you can do is take it all in. It's HUGE! There are over 600 breweries along with food and merch vendors. It's a wonderland for craft beer enthusiasts!

Of course, the first item you pick up once you're inside is your tasting glass! Don't drop it...people will yell, "Oooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

There are so many fun costumes and so many beers to try, it's overwhelming and exciting!

If you're planning to go and have never been, be sure to check out GABF's website for a list of local events related to the festival. We found a brunch at City, O' City with New Belgium and Jolly Pumpkin breweries. The food was absolutely amazing (it was vegetarian gourmet) and we got to have a collaboration beer from the ONLY keg in the WORLD of its kind!

Dale and i would like to extend an enormous THANK YOU to Brew Tees for this incredible trip! Please come like their Facebook page and show them some love!
